Charlies Tree
I am not sure what the name of this tree is, but I have come to know it as Charlie’s tree or the bendy ash. The ash tree is set in an outcrop of limestone pavement in the Yorkshire Dales and is full of character. This picture was captured early one morning with the sun catching the distant hills, looking through the bend in the tree, you can see the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct.
